The Chapel

A white stucco chapel with a red tile roof and an arched doorway, a low stone wall and clipped lawn in front, oaks and willows closing in behind
The chapel from the rose garden, its arched door and tiled roof above a stone retaining wall, an olive tree on the lawn alongside
The studio bedroom, a linen headboard centred between two shelf lights, jute rug and woven bench at the foot of the bed
The arched entry in white plaster, a carved timber door standing open on a framed print in the hall
The studio under a vaulted ceiling and dark beams, bed on the left and kitchen island on the right, carved door open to the terrace
The studio from the foot of the bed, jute rug running to an oak kitchen and an arched floor mirror by the door
A teak daybed under a cream umbrella on the terrace, French doors folded back on the bed inside
The kitchen counter laid for two, an olive sprig in a stoneware vase, the terrace daybed through the open doors
Galley kitchen in pale oak with a gas range, washer set into the run and a rattan pendant above the island
Walk-in shower tiled in sage zellige, two white robes on a rail and the WC through an open door
An olive tree over the terrace, timber sofa and folded umbrella against a clipped hedge and the tiled eaves
